Overview


Information on individual services can be found by accessing the ITAS Web Services Help Portal which is available on your test application server (or whichever server web services was installed on) if web services are installed. This is usually found on port 81: http://[servername]:81.


Web Service Classification


ITAS Web Services are split into three release modes depending on their release status which can be navigated to via the top menu:
  •  Released – fully tested, stable, documented and supported.
  •  Beta – happy path tested but there may be some issues. These web services are commonly being tested our clients in order to deliver the best features and functionality.
  •  Alpha – first pass at delivery. The response data is likely to be ‘stubbed’ meaning is in the right format but generated via the service rather than from the database.
It is assumed you have a reasonable level of understanding of what web services are and how they are interacted with. It is not the intention of this documentation to be an introduction to web services. If you have not designed, developed or tested web services before you may find some of these links useful:
