ITAS Services Release 8.31.0

Expected Release Date: 10th August 2026

Overview

This release has been shaped largely by user feedback, with a strong focus on resolving reported issues and refining existing functionality across Trade Capture, Contract Management, Logistics, and Invoicing. Alongside a broad set of fixes and enhancements, this release also introduces a new feature: support for Adjustment (ADJ) period documents in Data Portal.

New Features

This release introduces support for Adjustment (ADJ) period documents in Data Portal. Documents dated within the 13th month adjustment period, used by accounts teams to post final adjustments before closing the financial year, can now be correctly created, posted, and reflected in accounting reports.

Enhancements

This release delivers a number of enhancements requested by clients to improve day-to-day usability. Trade Capture has been extended to display Cost Type and Description together, show Commodity Origin Code, support additional delivery types including Terminal and Mill Delivery Account, and default Payment Terms on new contracts from the associated Client Account.

Contract Capture now includes a Contract Valuation Summary and support for Contract Options, while the Pricing Family field is now visible on Tranches and splits so users can identify where pricing derives from. The Currency Exposure (CCYEXP) report has gained additional filters, including a Commodities list and a refined Style filter, along with more accurate handling of cost estimates, commission, physical costs, and unpriced tonnages.

The Shipping Checklist can now link instructions to related ITAS activity, such as automatically updating when costs are entered on a contract, and supports creating documents from DQS queries based on the Shipment as well as the Contract, alongside smaller refinements to labelling and grid sorting. The document upload experience within Ready for Purchase Invoicing has also been improved with drag-and-drop support and a clearer default state.

Unposted cash documents can now be amended and available cash documents authorised, and a new Warehouse Location Dashboard allows warehouse locations to be managed and viewed graphically, supporting inventory analysis by product, grade, and origin.

Bug Fixes

A significant number of fixes have gone into this release in direct response to user-reported issues. In Trade Capture, users can no longer edit fixations or key pricing details, such as Type of Fix, F&O Market, Prompt, Differential, Differential Price Type, Differential CCY, and Number of Lots, once a trade has been marked fully fixed, and a related issue allowing lots on the PFIX screen to be changed beyond the maximum permitted has been resolved.

A wider tidy-up of Trade Capture also addressed the priced date and pricing F&O details being locked incorrectly after full fixing, missing pricing fields such as F&O commodity and Fixing Price Code, inconsistent Premium/Discount headings, a missing currency prompt on the Priced P/D field, container and bag counts not displaying on the Valuation page, and poor print output from the Valuation screen. Locking between the Contract and Open Futures screens has also been corrected, so changes can no longer be made on one screen while the other is open.

Elsewhere, contracts entered in Data Portal now correctly appear in the Position Report, Shipment Traffic Details now populate from Contract Traffic Initials, and date fields on the Shipping screen can be cleared without defaulting to 01/01/1970.

The Incoming Ready to Invoice grid no longer briefly shows "no data available" while loading, and its icons have been removed from linked items on the Incoming Invoices screen for a cleaner display. The tolerance on Coffee contract creation no longer defaults incorrectly to 3, and allocations made via another contract now correctly appear on the Shipment Details tab.

Finally, Commission Invoicing now shows the payment status of a Sales Invoice, so users can confirm it has been paid before issuing a Commission Invoice.
