IBR - Interest Rate Entry

What is IBR

This procedure is used:-
-to maintain existing and enter new interest rates.
-the 'report' is available for simple listing with filters present.
-calculate Interest amount using capital amount and any IBR rates/dates. Produce a DOCDES form for dispatch to counterparty.

These rates are needed for the simple calculator process on a capital item in IBR, and for the more sophisticated integrated procedures e.g. INTREP and are very useful for historical review (rates being totally archived/removed is at the discretion of the operating company)
The rates can be used by any of the operating companies on this ITAS server.

The 'how to use' is easy,
-enter the date range pertinent to rates being entered, activate 'edit' and you can amend any row and add new rows. The interest name is your own code, you will be warned when this is the first occurrence of the currency/name combination, just in case you have misspelled the name.
-tick/check the report icon and make selections
-tick/check the calculator icon and follow instructions/selections, note that GBP and STG currency codes will apply 365 days in its calculations whereas 360 days is used for all other currencies
