Client Types
This is the client type maintenance option. It is part of the CLICODES subsystem and is used to create, amend and delete this type of code. The Client Type code is used to classify client accounts by type e.g. shipper, warehouse, agent, etc.
Note, codes generally are used for a combination of the following: 1) validation of entries, to ensure correct data entry, 2) grouping of clients or accounts, for reporting or credit/risk analysis and 3) indication for calculations, to define how entered values are to be used.
